One benefit of a loose-fitting surf tee: you get increased mobility that you might not have with a tight rash guard. That and you don't have to bring another shirt to the beach for a post-surf beer at a local bar in order to look good. And don't worry about it being too wet; It's made of quick-dry bamboo-and-charcoal fabric and it dried within ten minutes of getting out of the ocean.
I got in a habit of wearing this thing all day long. The material was surprisingly thick, giving me confidence to wear it rock climbing knowing I wouldn't pill or scrape through the fabric. The top escaped with only one small scratch. Plus, the shirt is long so I didn't have to worry about the shirt riding up in the back.
I was particularly impressed with the Eco Loose Fit’s performance during hiking trips in the Kalahari. Not only did the bamboo blend keep me stink free (a natural benefit of that material), the UV 50 protection proved to be extra handy. Now if I can only remember sun screen for my neck.
