Think of the Surly Pugsley as the mountain-bike equivalent of fat skis. Run at ultralow pressure (4–6 psi), its superfat four-inch-wide tires allow you to maintain traction and float through otherwise unrideable terrain like sand, mud, ice, and especially snow.
