Green Mountain Digital has just re-launched its award-winning Audubon Birds App for iOS, now optimized for iPhone 5. Audubon Birds – A Field Guide to North American Birds has helped users identify their bird sightings, but now you can also geo-tag your finds, upload photos, take field notes, and share them with the community.
The app features 820 bird species found in the United States and Canada with in-depth descriptions, including range maps, information on habitat and behavior, and over 3,200 high-quality photographs and eight-plus hours of bird songs and calls. In addition to marking sightings, the platform lets users make life lists, follow friend’s postings, tag favorites, add comments, and share to Facebook.
