The prow creates a deep overhang before curving back toward the ground and rolling out into the sunken patio. The recessed area is encased in rough stacked stones, while the wooden deck is outfitted with a stone counter and barbecue. Inside, a long wall of burnished concrete supports the simple kitchen. Mimicking the patio outside, the oak-floor living room is sunken, too.
