KING OF SLASH
Good for Powder
Looser and more nimble than most rockered skis, the S7 is perfect in any snow deeper than your boots. The most versatile of the category, it was quick enough for tree skiing, and the traditional sidecut underfoot (the ski’s reverse sidecut is just in the tip and tail) makes it best in class on hardpack. Which is nice if you’re resort skiing or need to exit a powder field through a tracked-up gully. Buyer beware: Some testers found the S7’s loose feel a bit “too slashy” for their tastes. 145/115/123;
