MOST VERSATILE

It’s a frontside ski, so you can carve easy but powerful turns on it all day long, but thanks to subtle tip rocker (see page 39) and a big sweet spot, you can work the Rictor through bumps and mellow off-piste conditions with ease. Buy it if you get in most of your days in Vermont or Maine, or typically ski groomers but often work the edges of trails. “It’s classic K2,” said one tester, “wicked-easy turn initiation but a solid and stable feel.” 127/80/109;
