This video posted by the demonstrates the functions of a new backpack that generates electricity as you walk. The pack collects energy as it bounces up and down with your body, allowing the wearer to recharge batteries, iPods, satellite phones, etc. The military has taken a particular interest in the new pack as it will allow soldiers to carry fewer heavy batteries.
