SALOMON took a step toward Seventh Avenue when it aimed its hip snowboard apparel brand, Bonfire, at active urbanites. Case in point: the women’s MOTO JACKET, which weds the soul of a ski parka to the cut of Ducati duds. A waterproof polyurethane face keeps the elements out, while a fleece lining keeps the heat in. TOMMY HILFIGER‘s tan ANCHOR BONDED COTTON JACKET is a cross between a mackintosh raincoat and an Arc’Teryx shell. Look closely, past the rubberized cotton, to the bonded seams within, and you’ll find Tommy’s small nod to those brilliant Canadian fabric sealers. All that’s missing is a few pit-zips—to keep the sweat off that pinpoint-cotton-oxford base layer. ($165; 800-866-6948, )
