DON’T JUDGE A BOOK…
There’s a lot to admire here, and we’re not just talking about the funk factor. Looks are deceiving: The Emit’s frame and temples are 30 percent recycled nylon. The polarized ZB-13 lens is a multipurpose polycarbonate wiz, lending itself to just about anything. The copper tint, actually quite dense, works in full sun as well as shadow, revealing great depth, contrast, and detail. There’s grippy rubber where you need it; plenty of high, low, and peripheral protection; and the aforementioned slick frames and wide temples, which you either rock or can’t. Pretty damn sexy, but a demerit for that giant Z. zealoptics.com
