These Alpaca wool ($100) from Paka are warmer, cozier, and lighter than their merino counterparts. Each one is made by Peruvian weavers high in the Andes Mountains, where alpaca wool has long been valued for its sustainability, softness, and durability.
When production ramps up after the Kickstarer campaign, Paka says it will pay the weavers eight times the normal daily wage in the area.
