We’re into mid-December, which means it’s holiday shopping go-time, folks. If you haven’t already checked off everything on your list, we’re here to help with some smart, affordable, and fun suggestions that will make your family members happy campers on Christmas morning.
Pappy Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup ($38)

Regular maple syrup is delicious. But , makers of fine bourbon, have found a way to take this treat to a whole new level by aging it in retired bourbon barrels. Give this to the whiskey lover in your family, and plan to smother it all over pancakes as soon as all the presents have been unwrapped.
Chup Fika Socks ($35)

Loud is definitely how you want your socks these days, and we like that Chup’s take is particularly jarring. These are bomber because they’re built with old-school machines in Japan that mimic the movements of hand knitting. Don’t be surprised if they’re little tight on your first wear—these socks are meant to conform to your foot over time, just like a pair of raw-denim jeans.
Herbivore Post-Shave Elixir ($22)

Many of you probably remember what your dad’s or grandpa’s aftershave smelled like. Now it’s your turn to have your own smell. We’re big fans of the , which has strong notes of cedar and citrus for a more modern take. We also like that it’s alcohol-free, instead using witch hazel and aloe vera to soothe irritated skin.
Huckberry Half Dome Whiskey Glasses ($30 for 2)

You can drink whiskey from regular glasses or from , which have a raised topographic impression of Half Dome in the bottom. That choice seems easy, right? We also dig the Huckberry version because the glasses are made from 100 percent lead-free hand-blown glass that’s light and lovely in your hand yet durable if dropped.
Columbiaknit Marled Knitted Cap ($17)

Everything about says cozy. It’s built from a thick, chunky cotton that delivers immediate warmth. The handmade feel is a result of being sewn on 1920s-era machines at Columbiaknit’s nearly century-old factory in Portland, Oregon. Bonus points for the marled design that gives an extra dash of personality.
