Professional climber and filmmaker Cedar Wright has starred in dozens of climbing films and set speed records on multiple El Cap routes. But those feats are just a small part of what makes him such a popular and influential climber. He’s perhaps best known for his lighthearted and highly entertaining films (Sufferfest and Sufferfest 2, which won the People’s Choice at the Banff Mountain Film Festival) or the Instagram feed of Gus, his “all-terrain” black pug (@allterrainpug #puglife). What most people don’t know is that, technically speaking, Gus belongs to Cedar’s wife, Nellie Milfeld, a public defender and badass climber in her own right. As you’ll see in the video above, all three of them know how to have a pretty fun time on the rock.
