Jeep reached back into its storied history earlier this year, recreating one of its most popular vehicles as a throwback concept car.
The 2015-era Jeep Cherokee Chief looks strikingly similar to the '70s version, particularly the razor grille, chrome bumpers, and 17-inch slotted mag wheels. But this Chief is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine partnered with a six-speed manual transmission. Inspired by surf vehicles of the past, the car features an ocean-blue paint job, floral-pattern interior accents, and rosewood slats lining the rear hatch. The rear area is completely devoid of glass, allowing the breeze to waft through the cabin.
