The ϳԹ hallways are stacked with boxes, and our offices are overflowing with gear. But even we can't get our hands on every product. To fill the gaps, we often ask experts about the gear they're using. Other times, we read online reviews.

This week, we wanted to find the best outdoor blankets, so we went to Amazon's bestseller list, scanned for the highest rated blankets, then pulled our favorite reviews, which are listed below. Note: some reviews have been edited for length and clarity.

Fylina Beach Blanket ($30)

“ comes folded in a small carrying pouch, which makes it great for traveling. It is huge and our whole family can sit on it comfortably. I love that we can go in and out of the water and not have to worry about sitting on a damp or wet towel. Gone are the days of trying to get the sand off of my beach towels!”

Yodo Outdoor Water-Resistant Picnic Blanket Tote ($25)

“A great blanket, especially for the price I paid for it. The and so is the design. It is easy to fold and put away which is important for me because I usually am out with my toddler and baby. We have spilled drinks on it a few times but it is super easy to clean. The bottom part is waterproof so even if the grass or the ground is slightly damp, you'd still be sitting on a dry blanket.”

Pratico Outdoors Extra Large Picnic ($30)

“I use  in the backyard every other day or so. It looks cute in my Instagram pictures (obviously important) and stays clean and tidy because one side is waterproof. The plaid is soft and my baby loves laying on it. It's also really large and my whole family of four can fit on it with extra room; we are not small people.”

Rumpl Down Blanket ($105)

“I bought this for sitting and watching my kid's sports games in cold weather. It packs into a handy carrying bag and is the perfect length to cover my body while sitting in a beach chair. It’s also warm enough for sleeping in our VW Eurovan in Atlantic Canada at the end of July.”

Roebury Picnic Blanket ($30)

“Such a fun blanket. The and the ability to zip it up into a tote is great. The material feels a little bit like a nylon rain jacket, and it doesn't look like it will be too hard to clean. The material and construction overall feel nice and solid, with good stitching. Would recommend this to anyone to take to the park or the beach.”
