With its stiff aluminum frame and eight-speed rear cassetteas opposed to the broader gearing options of the ten-speed standardthe F95 is best suited to buttery smooth pavement and relatively flat country. But this is a ton of bike for the moneysuitably stiff for sprinting and predictable on descents and through twisty and rolling terrain. It doesn’t have the suppleness most people would want in a big-mileage bike, but the ride quality was forgiving enough that we never suffered during the hammerfests that our test outings generally became. And the Garmin team paint job is a nice touch. $849; 21.6 lbs (56cm);
