Blind surfer Derek Rabelo learned to ride waves roughly three years ago and has already surfed at Pipeline. The 20-year-old Brazilian from Guarapari was born 100 percent blind as a child. In addition to Pipeline, he's surfed 15-footers in Rio and Lower Trestles with Kelly Slater. His dream is to .

, is a new documentary on the blind surfer by Bryan Jennings of . Jennings has made , and went to visit Rabelo in Brazil after the went viral on YouTube. “When I returned home from Brazil I could not stop thinking about Derek and his powerful testimony,” says Jennings on . “God then made it very clear through some miraculous circumstances that Derek's story would be our next Walking On Water film and the theme of the movie would be based on 2 Corinthians 5:7 which says, 'We are to live by faith, NOT by sight.'”

On July 21 and 22, Jennings and Rabelo will be at the Horizon North County Church in Rancho Santa Fe, California, to share more about the story. The pair is raising money to finish the documentary. You can donate to the production of the movie at .
