Lindsey Vonn won her 65th world cup race with a victory in the super-G at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, . She was able to bounce back from a disappointing seventh place in the downhill on Saturday.

With the win, Vonn extended her record for career world cup victories for a woman, which she had set earlier this year. She shows no signs of slowing down: Vonn plans to race at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Vonn will now target a fifth super-G world cup title. The win gave her a slim, eight-point lead over Austrian Anna Fenninger, who placed third. The final super-G race will take place next week in Meribel, France.
