Spartan Race founder Joe De Sena this week launched , a podcast series featuring interviews with athletes, adventurers, CEOs, authors, and academics. Guests include Skirt Sports’ Nicole DeBoom, explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, and Virgin Group’s Sir Richard Branson.
At the end of each episode, De Sena and a panel of his colleagues break down what they’ve learned from the interviews as a means of unraveling the secret to each interviewee’s brand of success. For example, , the “Rocky of Brazilian jiujitsu,” taught panelists the “importance of delayed gratification early in life.” De Sena says he loves that Migliarese’s road to humility “started by punching someone in the face.”
