This winter, ski-pass discounter introduces private resort rentals. Yes, that’s right: you and your buddies can now have an entire mountain to yourselves. So far only a half-dozen resorts have signed on, New Hampshire’s Whaleback Mountain and Maine’s Camden Snow Bowl among them, but rates start at $3,000 for up to 250 of your closest friends. Sure, it may seem like skiing for the 1 percent, but at $12 a head it’s powder that the rest of us can afford.
