Snowboarder Kevin Pearce in Critical Condition

Olympic hopeful Kevin Pearce, 22, suffered a traumatic brain injury while practicing a double back flip (aka “double cork”) in the halfpipe at Park City Mountain Resort in Utah last week. He remains in the ICU at a Utah hospital but is reported to be in stable condition. 

Support has been flooding out of every corner of the ski and snowboard industry onto built in Kevin's honor. His older brother Adam has been keeping the readers updated with Kevin's most current status but, as of now, there isn't much to say.

Kevin is one of the few snowboarders who has beat gold medalist Shaun White within the last two years. He was prepping snowboarding's latest tricks for , which are happening this week, when the injury occurred.
