Camera maker Nikon has 3D-printed a custom mount for one of its cameras that can be strapped around a dog’s neck to take pictures from the animal’s point of view. The case is connected to a heart rate monitor that triggers the camera to snap a photo whenever the dog’s heart rate spikes.
Heart rate data is transmitted via Bluetooth to the mount’s OLED screen, so you can adjust the heart rate threshold required to fire the shutter and take a photo.
Nikon has not announced whether it plans to release the doggy camera-mount prototype as a consumer product.
