The Marin Museum of Bicycling, which will be the new home of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, officially opens this Saturday, Wednesday.

The hall of fame will include about 40 bikes and frames, with 28 bikes on permanent display, as well as supporting artifacts, mountain bike pioneer Joe Breeze told Bicycling.
The ribbon cutting on Saturday will feature live music, trick riders, and face painting. The Marin Museum of Bicycling will be an all-volunteer effort, according to Breeze, who sits on the museum’s board.
