After knocking back a few beers, Josh Seater, a 21-year-old Portland, Oregon man, in the city’s drinking-water reservoir. Seater at about 1:30 a.m. In response, Water Bureau official David Shaff said the city will empty the 7.8 million-gallon reservoir at a cost of $36,100. Though the Water Bureau in the same drinking supply, it is unusual for the city to dump the entire water supply. “Do you want to drink pee?” Shaff asked reporters at The Oregonian. “Most people are gonna be pretty damn squeamish about that.” Seater barely had time to zip his pants before police responded. The Multnomah County District Attorney’s office has not yet decided whether to file criminal charges against Seater.
