Investors believe a spark from a moving vehicle started Yosemite’s Dog Rock fire, which is burning 245 acres in the national park, . The fire is currently only 10 percent contained.

Earlier this week, a pilot flying a firefighting tanker died fighting the fire. His plane crashed into a cliff near the park’s west entrance.

El Portal Road, Yosemite’s entrance along California 140, remains closed. The Park Service is advising visitors to use highways 120 and 41 to enter the park from the west.
