British ultrarunner Lizzy Hawker completed a 199-mile run on Friday in 2 days, 23 hours, 25 minutes. Hawker broke by more than three hours despite making an eight-hour stop during a storm on the run’s first night. Her trip to Nepal was to be a along the Great Himalayan Trail, but she chose to run the base-camp-to-Kathmandu route after losing a bag containing some of her supplies.
