Rustam Gelmanov and Anna Stohr took first place overall at this year’s bouldering World Cup, locking up their wins on Sunday at the series’ final event in Munich, Germany. Gelmanov had been tied for first with Austrian Kilian Fischhuber leading into the final boulder, but took top honors with a fourth-place finish in the last event after Fischhuber failed to qualify for the semi-finals. On the women’s side, took her third overall win with a second-place finish behind Japan’s Akiyo Noguchi. Twenty-two-year-old Alex Puccio, who took fifth in the women’s final standings, was the only American competitor to finish in the top 20.
