In an effort to get Londoners active in time for the 2012 Olympics, a British company is and providing a free bag-carry service for running commuters. Runners drop bags into locked rickshaws operated by staff from project , who then deliver the luggage to runners’ houses. Routes travel near bus and metro lines, allowing runners to complete their commutes via public transportation where necessary. As the project grows, Limelight plans to use cars to carry bags. Asics has underwritten the Home Run, but spokesman Diccon Loy believes the bag service could operate for less than the price of a bus ticket without sponsorship.
