First Snows of the Season

The first day of fall had ski resorts around the country reporting the snow of the season. Though the 2013-2014 ski and snowboard season is still a couple months away, the that Colorado’s Breckenridge was one of the first major resorts to see snow Sunday.

Breckenridge wasn’t alone. Mountain cams atop Vail Mountain show a light dusting of snow, and resorts as far away as New Mexico’s Taos Ski Valley and Tahoe’s Heavenly Mountain Resort
