U.S archers concluded the 2010 Archery World Cup Stage 3 with a stunning seven medals in Ogden, Utah yesterday, reports. Four gold, one silver and two bronze went to the U.S as a boisterous crowd of 2,500 cheered from the stands on Saturday night at Lindquist Field.

Last year's runner-up Braden Gellenthien of Woodbridge, Va. squared off with El Salvador's Jorge Jiminez. For most of the day, the match was down to the wire, with Gellenthein maintaining a slim advantage until the last hurdle, where he found the center on the last three arrows.

“The last shot was dead nuts. It is incredible to do this in front of the home crowd. I feel like I'm going to cry. There is nothing like this in the world with the home crowd cheering me on,” Gellenthein said.
