Man Wants To Break Speed of Sound, With His Body

wants to become the first man to break the speed of sound with his own body. The project is called . Baumgartner will be flown into the stratosphere in a helium balloon while wearing a special spacesuit. He will then jump from 120,000 feet.

If the project goes as planned, Baumgartner will break records for the past 50 years. And along the way, he hopes to reach Mach 1, or almost 700 mph. Launch is set for “sometime in 2010”. I can't wait.
