Bruce Barcott Jordan Romero in our April issue. Romero is 13 an attempting to become the youngest person to climb both Everest and the Seven Summits. While keeps you apprised of happenings from the south side (in Nepal), I'll be following Jordan's progress on the Tibetan side of Everest.
Team Romero is currently en route for a May summit attempt. Jordan, his father, his father's girlfriend, and a base camp manager flew from Los Angeles to Hong Kong on Monday night (hauling 13 bags between four people). They landed in Hong Kong late Tuesday and had a 12-hour layover. From there, they fly to Kathmandu via Bangladesh. More updates to come.
