Bought an Avalung recently? Black Diamond has some bad news for you. The plastic intake hose on some of the new ones can crack in cold weather, so the company is recalling a number of Avalungs made in 2010, according to a company statement released today.
The issue doesn't affect Avalungs made before 2010, and you can tell if your pack is one of those being recalled by checking this website: www.blackdiamondequipment.com/avalungrecall or you can just call 801-278-5533 or email avalung@bdel.com
