The trailer for an upcoming movie about Czech climber Adam Ondra.
Adam Ondra climbed his first two V15 boulder problems this week, sending Big Paw and From The Dirt Grows The Flowers in two days during a stopover in Chironico, Switzerland, is reporting.
Ondra, 17, has had an extremely strong year so far. In March, Ondra climbed Golpe de Estado, his first 5.15b and the hardest route he has done so far. In August, he won the overall men's title in the Bouldering World Cup with a win in Munich, Germany.
In December 2009, Ondra became the first person to flash a V14 boulder problem when he climbed Dave Graham's Confessions first go.
First climbed by Graham in 2005 and 2008 respectively, From The Dirt Grows The Flowers and Big Paw have seen a slew of ascents in the past month as a number of world-class climbers have come to the country for the Swiss bouldering season. Big Paw has had its second, third, and fourth ascents in less than a month.
Ondra confirmed the grades as V15. In his entry for From The Dirt Grows The Flowers, he commented that he was “happy to do such incredible problem.”
