British pro cyclist Alan Bate took off from Bangkok, Thailand today in his attempt to in under 100 days. A shows if he's coming through your town, just incase you want to let him draft behind you (which he's hoping you will).

Currently, the record is held by Brit Julian Sayer (165 days), so Bate's goal of making it in 99 days is ambitious, to say the least. According to , that's an average of 182 miles every single day for over three months. If the thought of that many miles in the saddle isn't enough to make your butt hurt vicariously, I don't know what will.
