Just minutes from my house in the Colorado Rockies, there are some insanely steep granite steps. The rock was cut and smoothed by glaciers as they flowed down the valley, making for some intense but rideable mountain bike lines. Early one morning with great light, my goal was to really showcase the grade of the granite face. I climbed onto the slab, pressed my camera into the rock, and waited for Kevin Soller to rip down with the cloudy sky as his backdrop.
