A 100-year-old British man became the first centarian in recorded history to complete a marathon when he finished the Toronto Marathon on Sunday in. Fauja Singh, 100, took up running at age 80 and completed his first marathon at age 89. Sunday’s race was his eighth marathon, and his time was more than 30 minutes faster than his goal of 9 hours. Singh runs ten miles a day in training and completed the race ahead of five other runners.
