ϳԹ magazine, America's leading active-lifestyle and adventure-travel magazine dedicated to covering the sports, people, places, adventures, discoveries, health and fitness, gear and apparel, trends, and events that define the active lifestyle, is hiring an assistant editor. This full-time position with benefits is based at Mariah Media/ϳԹ editorial headquarters in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Factchecking monthly department stories and longform feature stories; assisting writers and editors with additional reporting assignments; monthly research projects; contributing timely story ideas; and a willingness to jump in for whatever day-to-day tasks are required to ensure the magazine closes on time each month.
QUALIFICATIONS: At least one year of demonstrated experience working at a magazine, online magazine, or newspaper. Ideal candidates will have factchecking experience at a national magazine.
