Grizzly bears have killed a reported five people in Yellowstone National Park in the last 100 years, yet the potential threat is enough to keep visitors armed and ready. As of February 2010, are legally allowed inside most national parks, leaving rangers worried that impulse will trump logic if visitors stumble upon a grizzly.
