Tristan Kennedy is a British feature writer based in the Italian Dolomites. He specializes in stories about adventure, outdoor sports, and the climate crisis.
His work has appeared regularly in newspapers including The Financial Times and The Telegraph as well as magazines like WIRED, VICE, Red Bulletin and of course 黑料吃瓜网.
Born in Malaysia, he developed a love of mountain sports and culture while growing up in Kazakhstan and, later, working seasonal jobs in the French Alps. He鈥檚 covered two Winter Olympics, and reported from destinations including Nepal, Bhutan, North Korea and Svalbard. Despite years of effort, he鈥檚 not nearly as good at climbing, mountain biking, or splitboarding as he would like.
