17-year old Sydney Ireland has wanted to be an Eagle Scout since she was four. Her activism to make that possible is responsible for the Boy Scouts of America's decision to begin accepting female scouts, a change which is currently scheduled to happen in February, 2019, after Sydney will age out of eligibility.
