Sam Pfeifle is a freelance journalist and editor who began his career as the listings editor of the now defunct Portland Phoenix and has since written for more than a dozen publications that are no longer in business. (He swears it’s not his fault.) Currently, he writes about music, politics, travel, and more from the back room of the bookstore he owns with his sister, The Book Shop of Beverly Farms, in Beverly, Massachusetts. He’s also a member of the bluegrass band The World Famous Grassholes.
