Maya is editor-in-chief of Climbing Magazine. She’s covered the outdoors, travel, the environment, and food for 15+ years, and is the author of four Moon travel guides to Utah. Even though she would always rather be in the desert, she can usually be found climbing ice in Colorado every winter and teaching her kids to climb in the Uinta and Wasatch Mountains of Utah where she lives.
