Lucy Parks was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, but spent much of their adult life in New York City. Their work has been featured in Bible Belt Queers, The Daily Yonder, Electric Dirt, and Suffragette City. Lucy has worked in community organizing and education for several years and thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2019.
