His travel articles have appeared in The New York Times, USA Today, National Geographic Traveler, Elevation Outdoors, AARP, and other publications.
Joshua is also a Spanish teacher and outdoor educator who used to work as a wildland firefighter and Outward Bound instructor. His most memorable adventures include his , hiking the first , and on the Travel Channel. He continues to enjoy hiking and camping throughout the Rocky Mountains and beyond.
