Joshua Morse is based in Burlington Vermont, where he is a PhD candidate at the University of Vermont and a volunteer on the Backcountry Hunters and Anglers state leadership team. His popular writing has appeared in Sage Magazine, Western Confluence, and Field Notes: a Publication of the University of Vermont Field Naturalist Program.
