Jennifer Berney is the author of the memoir (Sourcebooks, 2021) which was a finalist for the Washington State Book Award. Her essays have appeared in Longreads, Catapult, The Offing, Wired, The New York Times, and many other publications. She is in love with the Puget Sound region, where she lives with her partner, children, and many animals.
