Deenie Hartzog-Mislock
Deenie Hartzog-Mislock is a mother of two, former dancer, and multifaceted writer. She is a career copy director, formerly holding roles at Vogue and Virtue Labs. She is also a seasoned editorial and essay writer. Her work can be found in the New York Times Modern Love column, Slate, Longreads, Refinery29, and more.
She writes a bimonthly Substack newsletter called BLURT and is currently penning a memoir on grief, motherhood, and Mississippi. Hartzog-Mislock fell in love with hot yoga nearly a decade ago, and credits her practice with resolving her chronic impatience. (Her husband and children are thankful as well.)
