April Reese is a science and environment journalist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her writing on public lands, climate change, the US-Mexico border, water, wildfire and other topics have appeared in The Guardian, Scientific American, Science magazine, Popular Science and other outlets. She’s a former editor at Discover and Cosmos in Australia and has a master’s degree in environmental studies from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
