What exactly makes a company one of the best places in the country to spend your working hours? If the stats we assembled here are any indication, the secret lies in letting Fido sleep under your desk, having plenty of games, and having offices that are close to plenty of adventure.

61: Companies on the list with fewer than 50 employees.

6: Number with more than 250 employees.

39: Companies located in Colorado, the state with the most employers on our list. California was the next highest, with 15.

24: PR and marketing offices that made our list—more than any other field. Technology was the second-largest industry (22 companies), and retail was the third (8).

57: Companies that offer yoga in the office. Other wellness-related perks include strategically placed pull-up bars, in-office workout spaces, and gym discounts.
