Boasting over 60 miles of trails, and some of the best snow conditions in the northeast, Craftsbury’s Nordic Center offers first-rate instruction and high-quality rentals. You can explore the Just outside Stowe are two more good options. The Bolton Valley Ski Touring Center (802-434-2131, ext. 194) has 20 miles of groomed trails, and an additional 46 miles of well-marked backcountry terrain, and The Trapp Family Ski Touring Center (802-253-7311) is equally as vast.
